The holidays will be here before you know it and we want to be sure to give all of our clients a holiday to remember.

How do I do this?

Please be sure to read all details of this project ahead of pledging the holiday bags
to ensure all pledged bags are filled in time for the holidays!

1. Contact Nancy

Contact Nancy and let her know you are interested in either pledging holiday grocery bags or hosting a food drive.
This will help us keep track of which of our needs are filled and best direct your efforts.

The best way to reach Nancy is via e-mail: NInzinna@LiftingUpWestchester.org
Be sure to reference Holiday Food Drives/Grocery Bags in the subject line.

2. Purchase & Collect Items

Purchase and collect items from our Holiday Grocery Bags list*. (click here for list)*.

*For health and safety reasons, we cannot accept opened or expired food items.

3. Schedule

Schedule a drop-off time with Nancy* to deliver your food items to 35 Orchard Street.

*The best way to reach Nancy for scheduling is via e-mail: NInzinna@LiftingUpWestchester.org

4. Fill out and return

Fill out and return our in-kind donation form!
This helps us keep track of all of the wonderful help we get from community members like you!

Why is it important to fill out the in-kind donation form?

  • Generates a Thank You Letter for your Records

  • Helps LUW when applying for a Grant.

Even if you estimate the dollar amount of the donation it is helpful

(Incl. in Holiday Bag Estimate - cost of bags + contents can range from $14.00 to $23.00 per bag.)

Donor Form Info is used as a reporting tool, demonstrating how much the Community helps LUW achieve its mission.

Your name will stay anonymous as we apply for Grants.
